This is a real stickpin usually associated with Kav 5 regt often described as panzer stickpins. Nothing to do with SS.

It's real but it's not SS.
It belongs to the 5th cavalry regiment.

I'm fortunate to have a pair of officer shoulder boards with 5. Kavallerie devices on them.
Sorry to sound pedantic but when members ask "fake or real", it always triggers my OCD. Of course, it's REAL. It exists, right? You took a photo of it. You mean to ask if it is ORIGINAL. I know, I have issues.
