I agree with Al, looks like a good one. Late war production before they went to one piece construction with tabs along the outside.
A layer of vaseline would help with the zinc pest, apply a thin layer let soak in remove and reapply a couple times.

@CBH, I will keep this in mind. Thats a great tip! Is it neccesary to stop this "zinc pest" or will this progress only in bad storage conditions?

It will continue even the vaseline only greatly slows the process.
I believe it is an oxidation that occurs between the metals used in the alloy.
Very similar to rust but moisture isn't needed, I'd also review some of the preservation threads.
