I certainly like the looks of it.

It has all the elements of an original. I like it! The 4th photo shows the die struck marks and it compares favorably with other examples.

Im still very new to this but it looks right to me. Ive never seen pins that long but lately Ive been seeing different attachement configurations on these types

I would be lying if I said I knew the answer, I honestly dont know for sure. These early danziger types were used long before the big war into the early stages of the third reich. There are lots of photos on this site of them in use on early SS caps. Wish I could be more help, Im still new to the hobby.

You see a lot of nickel silver S.A. Eagles in the early 1930's. In my opinion it could be an early SS skull. Vince
