Sorry...another Totenkopf

Apologies in advance as this is another of those 'is it real?' threads.

I am posting these photos for a friend who picked up this totenkopf in a flea market and wants to know if he has found a bargain. For me it is a cast fake, the pins look bad, the detail looks bad, the RZM looks bad...

But I am no expert so here it is for your opinions.

First - thanks Glenn for uploading the pics for me! - next could anyone tell me how to upload those ----- pics! , next - im new in this line of collecting (what a jungle of fakes), learning, - how about details - the pins ? how should they look, and the RZM mark how should it look? and what about the 5/8 isent that suppose to be the code for the manufacturer? - beside that the pic become a bit blurred becourse of the flash light, the badge is acturly quiet detaild

but ok i dont expect to find the holy graal in my first attempt at the flea marked -- Regards Kjeld.

yes its a jungle out there. the only thing i can suggest study the forums archives ask alot of ?. if you have the time to post before you buy.dont buy the story buy the item.thanks to the interenet you have a chance at trying to educate yourself. deal w/trust worthy dealers.the ss stuff is tuff. at least w/the daggers you have a good shot at getting something orignal.have had some luck w/stuff.i have to warn you collecting this ww2 german is addictive. good luck and welcome to the hobby. deadeye

Yes the one above is bad. but the RZM is also on good ones aswell.

Any skull with the SS runes should be considered fake...

I just found another pattern 2 1934, on a Danish Homepage, this patettern 2 was made for the "Schallburger core" ( Danish SS )same patination and have even more wear than mine

and just for the records? what makes the RZM marks strange?what about the 5/8 and what about the pinns? i do miss proof gents, to be surden best regards
