    I don't want to open another thread about the Berlin Hoard but this skull irritated me.
    I thought is one of the Berlin Hoard,but I have found one simiral on the originalgermanmilitaria.com.

    They are both the same type. Commonly referred to as "early jawless" skulls that can be attributed to early SS caps but probably saw use on other types of caps as well. It's all about semantics with these names assigned by dealers and collectors. They are lumped into the Berlin Hoard variety because they were also found in great quantities with the other type discovered . Most collectors accept them now as legitimate but they are the least sought after skulls and used to be a lot less expensive. Unfortunately now they are being sold for the same price as the more desirable style skulls.

    Here are two more from my small collection.
    The other two, have seen on caps, but the Berlin Hoard skul, not yet.
    Do you know which photos exist.

    That is great,thank you very much.
    I believed that this variant was exist only after the Berlin Hoard found and not pre 1945.
    Could mine be a pre 1945 piece?
