Ray,
Can you post pictures of the front & reverse of the skull "full on" instead of being at an angle.
It will help determine its originality.
Regards
Chris
I can call the people and try to get them to do it, or I will have to wait until I get it in about a week or so. Got to love military postal.

I think you have "nice camouflaged" reproductions here.
I wouldn't know about the eagle, but I think carlsson's right, the skull looks off to me from that angle. I would also have thought that there should be more than just the RZM mark too.

I assume the off colour parts are wear ....
No It was made to "look like" It has some nice CupAl patina but they're both copies. Nevertheless on a cap It would be difficult to identify. The thickness of the prongs are a give away on both pieces.
compare...
Ahhh, I misunderstood your remark about them being 'camouflaged.'
Thanks for clarification.
Excellent six pics too. The colour of the one top row and to the left looks great - I cant tell which are fake or not though, as Im no expert on these (they dont need to be factory fresh to look great..., but thats just my opinion).
Here's a straight on shot of same type Repro - can be identified from the front too ( no need to use the dreaded "P"-word ) ..
