It does looks like an original unmarked skull. These are sometimes attributed to Deschler but as far as I know there is no evidence that he was actually the maker. Note the difference in the teeth.

No one will ever know if It's a Deschler or not. You have a nice patinated one, i think these attachmentes has been repaired at some point though.
I agree with Carlsson1982 that it looks like the attachment pins / Prongs have been replaced or repaired at some point. Near the solder it looks like there is some left over or burned solder - Flux? Or some heat that has been applied at these points. None the less a great looking skull with nice patina and sharp details!
