Beaten up SS Autumn parka - genuine?

Would you be so kind and give your opinions on this, rather beat up, SS autumn parka? It looks ok to me, but i'm just not sure...

I agree. The differing fading we see with certain sections of fabric is often seen with late war smocks, where small pieces of old stock off cut fabric were cut to make pockets and reinforcing patches and added to newer fabric. Nothing was wasted. With differences in the screen print dye used the fabric doesn't fade uniformly.
Have a look inside the sleeves, there may be a stamp mark.

I prefer items with wear and tear. I wouldn't turn down a nice minty item for free but this kind of uniform item shows the kind of wear you'd expect from something that saw action. A nice find if you ask me. Neil
