BeVo $20

Hi i went to a local gun shop and they have a lot of german things put up in boxes but one of the guys took the things out. they have shoulder boards medals ( the ww1 was cheaper) a bronze crown and sword combat medal. how can i tell if its real and have 2 BeVo rank "things" for 20. they are tan one is like a v and anther is like a double v. thanks for your help sorrry i dont have pics. i think that Aids post on how to spot a real one might help.

Hi, these sound like rank chevrons worn on the sleeve? If tan coloured I doubt it will be SS related. These are not normally found in "Bevo" machine woven format either.

Without pics it is impossible to say exactly, but $20 sounds about right if original.
