Hi Guys, these can often be found mint unissued from the "Dachau hoard". This one was actually worn by a member of the "Handschar" Division. Again taken out of a soldiers souvenir photo album.

Ade, I agree with you. Same happens for beautiful photo albums "cannibalized" to sell the best pics only and destroying a precious historical document...

I have never actually seen one that has been worn.

They are always the 'minty fresh, stored in a warehouse quality'.

This is normal, due of a thousands of different SS insignia was picked up by US veteran. The worn are more rare.

I think there are hardly any originals in USA. Croatian volunteers fought on Russian front and then later at home against partisans. Only Handschar division was in Italy for a while.
