Somewhat more interesting than the average dorked up uniform or fake collar patch that suffocates the digital universe, nicht wahr?
My thanks to my mentor for his generous visual aids.
Some more material, and expert analysis by my mentor, David Delich.
"...The following titles were authorized for use
by the Danish Schalburg. Of course the
"Schalburg" title was the "standard" title
worn, which had white lettering and white
borders.
The other five shown were officer
versions, and the only others ever made.
It is my understanding that only two
complete sets of 6 titles were ever in
collections, of which I own one set. As
opposed to the "Schalburg" title itself,
where the wording and borders were
exclusively white, the officer versions
were manufactured with aluminum wire
wording and white borders. Note this
in the one enlargement of the "Absalon"
title, and also the manufacture of the
reverse of these titles.
The names associated with the lower 5
were the name of Danish heroes:
Herluf Trolle - a 16th Century Danish Naval
hero
Absalon - a 12th Century Archbishop and
founder of Copenhagen
Shjalm Hvide - founder of the Hvide dynasty
Olaf Rye - an army hero of the Napoleonic
era
Loessoe - a 19th Century military hero
All were intended to be worn by military
companies, but it is unclear if any were issued
or worn..."
Thanks to my senior mentor for these remarkable things. We are much richer for his generosity.
FB, thanks for your efforts.
Thank David, my good old friend, for showing his material.
Great stuff from a collectors one-of-a-kind ace of exceptional value
for the collecting world!
Stunning! The shoe box of cuff titles is unbelievable. The material that makes up the uniforms has the appearance of being very coarse in texture, is that the case? Please, thank your mentor for letting us see these unique items.
Thank you, honored sir, for your own wonderful scholarship and learned presence in our midst. In the spirit of full disclosure, some of these things are in a private collection in Europe.
We thank all stalwart persons here who promote the work of this site and otherwise contribute each in their own way.
For others who aspire to these things, the real material here sets a high standard for which some of us have sacrificed over decades and at major expense of time and treasure.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Another obscure piece of the NS puzzle coming forth. In small increments the truth continues to piece together what has never been known or seen by the collecting community..not even a thought of..which no history book seems to exude...until now. Special thanks to Mr Delich..and Friedrich-Berthold..for bringing this to the attention to the type collectors and the community as a whole!. Regards Larry
