RIP Dave Delich. As some may know or not know, Dave Delich was a corner stone in collecting SS items and he will be missed by many in the collectors community for his contributions in WWII German SS items.

A prince of a man. Helpful and caring to the very end. Even in his last days I found him to be strong and engaged in our chats. It shows the type of humans we are as a collecting family. We may not always agree and see eye to eye. In the end Dave was an example of a guy who treated all well and cared for the hobby and others.

Oh no, we spent many hours together during the early stages of the internet. Really sad.

He was always teasing me with his flatwire Freikorps Danmark cuff title, I never found one even though I can pay a large sum...

    Hello,
I never had the opportunity to be in contact with Dave Delich, most probably because i don't collect SS items, but knowing that he was a great helper for other collectors is enough for me to pay my respects to him and to present my condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
    Thanks

My sincere condolences to his family. I have read many of the threads, displaying his fine insignia, here on WRF, a true collector & willing to educate others in our hobby, may you rest in peace.
