    Another of the Bunde treasures of pre-war SS at arms images. A bunch of SSVT and SSTV men, with very un uniform uniforms, as it were. So much for the most holy "textbook" as concern collar patches, arm Hoheitszeichen and collar patches.

    In fact, I think in the NSDAP and its branches in the years from the end of the 1920s until the 1930s there was more of this kind of chaos than one knows. Contemporary orders and what not on uniforms make constant reference to units with uneven kit of just this very kind, unless all of these men without collar patches are SS Bewerber.
