Welcome to the forum you will find answers to most of your questions here and if at all possible you should post anything you want to ask about here before buying.

You will need to post each item in a seperate thread to avoid confusion and to get the best response. Also post items in an orientation that makes it easy to view. For instance if an area has writing or stamps etc make sure they are the "right way up" so that one doesn't have to risk a spinal injury just to view it! Plus the better the picture quality the better the answers, we need to see things like the weave of cloth and stitching or the texture or a hard surface.

I am not a cloth item specialist but we have some real experts here and I expect they will be along soon.

One thing that does concern me slightly not having expert knowledge is the ink stamp on the front of the arm band. My immediate question would be why is it there?

Would you care to share the name of the "reputable dealer". The source of an item whether dealer or original owner etc is always good info.

Stand by for more answers but as I say please seperate the items into one thread each and use the correct name (German if you know it) in the thread title, this makes future searches easier.

    Regards

    Mark

    Great looking items.
May I ask a question to make this a learning experience for me?

I thought that the line pattern on SS armbands black strip were straight like this example I found here that was deemed good.

I am by no means questioning anybody's analysis of this. I'm just trying to learn something here and didn't know there were variations.

I don’t like the tag on the diamond. Paper looks to thick. A diamond like this should have a A tag not a C tag. The bottom of the S and the D should be lined up and the S and D are to close to heather. I don’t like the shape of the S. Search some other examples. I have never seen a SS armband with a B tag. Check out some originals and they usually have D tags or cloth tags on the early one. There are lots armbands with fake cloth tags. I don’t collect a lot of SS cloth but I would pass on these.

I think both items are probably OK. The armband is the cotton variety normally seen on the brown shirt, and its construction and markings are correct...
