Here's a nice explanation from the Beaver / Bando book "Insignia and Artifacts of the Waffen SS." You would have to have some pretty solid provenance for a "prototype & theater made" SS cuff title before I'd even consider purchasing one. Especially since its a cuff title portraying one of the most collectable SS divisions...
