It looks a bit 'modern' in construction, and a little crude too.

I think there were at least three different varieties of this shield Frank, but the one pictured isn't even close. Shape of the shield & subject completely wrong. There used to be a Petrol Station in Spain years ago and this almost looks like the patch they had on their hats.

It does look very crude compared to the four original types shown in "Cloth Insignia of the SS"
It head looks like a alligator , not a Lion. I'm think its fake.
