The artificial silk lining says it's a after 1942 year made, and the fieldgrey backing too. Properly made buttonholes, but I can't recognize the black wool from that picture, my thought is a early copy... But let's wait for other opinions.

Thanks! here are some oblique pics of the wool. I was more worried about the monogram. The wool is similar in coarseness and weave to other examples that I know to be good,... but of course you never know!
