    MY OPINION:

Of the three paterns of this shield. This does not resemble one. Use the below link for reference.

Why print Ad Hitler on the back anyway?

I was of the opinion that the first pattern had "Latvija" spelled on it. I stand corrected. After looking it up there were many variations of hand made pieces of the first type. So your example can be an original one. But being hand made can be countless of variations.

The chevron shown by me is the very first type of Latvian chevrons made in the territory of Latvia.

I had already read the thread, but I haven't specifically know at the specific badge.
As far as I know, are made locally with many variations.
Second, certain badge have been very heavily faked.
With these two requirements, I would advise you to only buy badges of known and confirmed origin.
IMO your badge is not good, but is not a confirm.
    Regards, Jannis.

Jannis ! You don't like this emblem very well because it is handmade. All the first types of this emblem were made by hand

My opinion is, the problem with handmade badges is that you don't have the opportunity to 100% compare,as like with embroidery and leave room for speculation.
That's why I advised you to only buy badges of known and confirmed origin.
If you think it's good, it's ok, I wouldn't have bought it.
    Regards,Jannis.
