Opinions on Totenkopf Cuff Title Please

Attached are some photos of a Totenkopf cuff title that I traded for back in 1972 when I was 14 years old. The guy I got it from said it was original and from my limited knowledge of such things at the time, I believed it to be, so I traded for it.
Later, I heard through the grapevine that it was fake. I was so upset that I just put it away and never showed it to anyone.
Now, 37 years later, I'll let you guys look at it. Don't worry about hurting my feelings, I've lived with the idea of it being fake for 37 years and if it turns out to be good, then I made a great trade when I was fourteen!

Thanks guys! Like I said, I thought it was fake for a long time. Maybe I should trade it back to the guy I got it from, he did swear it was 100% original. Or was that 1000% original ? I do run into him occasionally and is is still dealing in militaria...

Then he should be glad to get it back since, if it was genuine item, it would be quite desiriable.
