Well said. The object is a welcome satire of our manic obsession with these things and probably collecting this kind of thing would cause less heartache.

Hats are also fundamentally silly at some level.

It is the rare LSDRSS LeibStandarte Der Reichsführer SS service cap. Very rare.

I heard this from an uncle, who had a friend that knew a guy who was in Vietnam on an Aircraft Carrier. And I have a degree.........., so there!
