Hi Ralph I did look at that in the photo's and it doesn't appear so. It should be dented in if it's crushed in from the front.

I don't see a cast piece here, It must be a damage when pressing out the eyes and nose.
I've seen 2nd type skulls with similar damages.

Thank you for the help. The man who owned the items passed away a few years back and now his wife is dying of cancer. I’m helping a friend sell the items to help her out. I had to make sure it was real, I do not want to mislead anyone. Thank you very much and Mrs. Goodwin thanks you.
