schwarze SS Dienstmuetze, Fa. Clemens Wagner
I love it , has that Salty been there look !
The phrase "Tuchmuetze fuer SS" always gives me a jolt. It must be Pavlovian in some way.
Our colleague Peter Jenkins sent me a document as concerns an audit/inventory from the year 1936 via higher headquarters of a Rhenish Sturmbann of the Allgemeine SS as to how many of such caps were kept in quartermaster stores.
Further proof that these things were not especially widely had even in their day. Less so the black Dienstrock....

The stamp on the chinstrap is original i guess ( i have found the same stamp on the chinstrap on a field gray visor)
Are there more variations of stamps on chinstraps from gray and black visors existing.
For me thats an interesting question
