But for a bandsmember it's still not really clear to me which ct it would be.
We do can exclude the 'Rhein'-ct, don't we?
So, it would be a numbered from 1 - 4, or a blank ct?
And most likely the blank ct for a bandsplayer…?

The SS album I just posted has a couple period photos of band members. They are below. The 1st photo the members have no cuff title. On the second photo the flag bearer has a cuff title with a #1 and so does the 4th, 5th & 6th members in from the left of photo in front row also are wearing a cuff title with #1. The 3rd pic is a blow up of #2.

Thank you for posting these excellent images of early band members. They are definitely wearing sturm numbers.
The regulation I posted was from 1937 and as these pictures predate that, (probably taken in early 1934), it has sparked my interest as to when the regulation was introduced. Should I come up with anything I shall post it to this thread.
in the meantime I will go over and study the other album photos you mention.

That new album I just picked up has yielded some nice pictures. I notice it as well on his sleeve. I also noticed the armband on the one man to the left. The black stripes are twice the size in thickness as a normal kampfbinde. The wings on his swastika seem to be darker / thicker construction than the other band members as well if you compare it visually to others. Just thought it was interesting

I missed one of your questions. The white borders were replaced by silver/aluminium borders in October 1934.

I managed to photograph a shadow of a diamond on the left sleeve of this Nachrichten 13 tunic.
Which diamonds could have been worn and would be logical on this tunic?
