SS Cockade Legitimacy?

Bought this Cockade from an auction site, just want to know if this item is legitimate? - Any help would be appreciated

Overall low quality for me. I would not be a buyer, but I am no expert and would defer to CBH.

It should be three piece construction, the attachment loop should be a separate piece under a backing plate. The example shown is two piece or one piece construction.

Are we sure this isn't a ground-dug original? Sure looks like it could be to me!

Its very corroded and dirty, but I think we're looking at an original piece...

You might be right, I don’t like the loop, but the corrosion to the edge shows that it’s two piece construction. I stand corrected.
