I neither like the buckram on the first shown tab.
Koelner/Bonner Standarte detail. As I wrote above, I collect these thus as here with this tunic, so attached and where the secrets of buckram and glue will remain hidden until doom's day.
others are lucky and find this sort of thing, but not I. This is from a single figure and illustrates the way a career could unfold in only a few years from 1932 until 1939 or 1940.

Saarbrueckener Standarte, wie oben abgebildet....
alles zusammen as foetid woolens. Whose these men were is unknown to me. The Koeln Bonn piece came from the famous and good Don Woods, and the Saarbruecken piece from Manion's in 1978 and thence at one point to Jeff Clark, known for his NSDAP items.
