SS collar taps original?

what do you think of the SS collar taps?

They have nothing in common with WWII German produced collar tabs. The angle of the runes are incorrect, tha material is odd and the backing material is nothing I have seen. The litzen for rank is also incorrect.

i really know nothing about it, but is it possible these were made as ersatz? or made by collaboration soldiers? or did they also get an uniform from Germany?

These tabs, as Bob rightly states have nothing to do with the TR period.

the man who sold them to me said if they are not original they will pay me back i really found they where cheap for originals you don't pay 150 euro's these day's anymore for originals

you see i have still much to learn
but i am just 20 years old there is still a much time to learn

A word of advice from someone who has collected for over 50 years and has been burned more times than I would like to remember. If the seller knows what he has and prices them way under market value, proceed with great caution. If you had done a little homework, you would have known these tabs have no resemblence to period original examples, They are so bad, they look like uniform insignia made for Hollywood movies in the
1940's.
