1st option -
a Luftwaffe pilot assigned to SS ,a Pilot of the SS-Fliegersturm or ex-SS-Fliegersturm, The SS-Divisions (LSSAH, Das Reich, Wiking, Nord, Prinz Eugen and Florian Geyer) had a Planes attachment with SS-Pilots of this disbanded Fliegersturm. The Reason for this was to guarantee a independent Recon and transport Unit.
2nd option - He had an SS friend who lent him the complement for the photo.
