SS M40 Estonian volunteer feldmutze salty- attic found

This one just got from a friend who found it in the old Estonian attic. Note that the attached metallic scull is a kind of fashion of Estonian SS volunteers, due of it's a not first example seen in that configuration ( sometimes with Estonian made steel sculls)
The scull also underlayed with a piece of red wool, which is more interesting to me. The liner is too dirty but looks like this one id Georg Teufel made by materials used on on it and the cut.
Very interesting piece of history, IMO.
Unfotunately the moth eat all the woolen part of the cap...

It was not a cheap beauty, I've pay for that one 1600 eur, but this one IMHO better than to buy the insignia for the same price separately ( and I don't need the insignia separately)

Cool find Dimas. Could it be that the red backing was made from a little piece of a fez?
