The person who used that thing for his cigarettes must have had a lot of free time on his hands if he could manage to make such a nice picture.

I didn't want to say I thought it was fake. It looks pretty real and old, but most of all it looks nice for (if a soldier made it) an amateur.

Soldiers were often craftsmen as well as farmers.
I have seen much “nicer” more detailed trench art.
I think it is ok.

it looks real but "alot of time on his hands"???i could have whipped it up better in 15 minutes.but then again i can draw.
