So these look good for SS collar tabs, or are they regular Heer tabs?

As Bob has already stated they are original Police tabs.

So are the SS and the Heer police tabs the same? I thought the shades of green were different?

You are getting confused here.

These are regular Police tabs: nothing to do with the Heer or the SS. You need to read up on the Schutzpolizei and the Police in general. It is a broad subject and I don't have time to explain it all here.

Hey Ade, i have photos of SS men( wearing sleeve eagles ) , and having police/ heer looking collar tabs, not SS tabs. That is why i ask. I know that not all police wore SS sleeve eagles, there is my confusion. I can post the pics if ya want. .......Thanks Ade !!!

You are refering to the 4th SS Police Division. Raised from Policemen transfered to the Waffen SS. They initially wore a unique uniform which featured Police collar tabs but with an SS sleeve eagle. Later they changed to the standard pattern Waffen SS uniform with SS rune tabs and their own cuff title.

Like I mentioned, the Police is a vast subject in it's own right.
