It is possible to have opinions about the insignia of this cap please ?



Condition of the insignia seems too good if I compare with the cap...

Common Fake insignia

the skull rely seems to be off to one side?

Would this be the so called droopy eye fake?
That might explain the terrible angle that it is mounted.

If the cap is real it still has good value. I picked up a stripped SS sidecap about 15 years ago. It was a little nicer than this one. I posted it on WAF and was offered $700. Not sure what the market is today.
