    NAMED, Service-Used Waffen-SS Pionier Officer Tunic,
    $9,975.00

    This is an exceptionally nice SS-Obersturmführer tunic, for an officer in the Engineers (pioniertruppe). The tunic was tailor made, dated on the name label as “Juni, 1944,” and is badged with earlier quality bullion runes, bullion eagle and higher quality shoulderboards, with black underlay for Pionier. The lining is a satin-like material, with the Kronenberg tailor’s label, and on the inside pocket, the full label with the name and rank of the wearer, “Dr. Merzfeld or Marzfeld, Oberstf.”

    This used to be my theorie as well. Until I saw the results of the Delich auction last month. Collectors pockets seem to be deep.

    2311U1 - Rare named Waffen SS Judicial officer's tunic. This four pocket tunic features exceedingly rare matching sewn-in shoulder boards with wine red waffebfarbe indicating attachment to the Judicial branch of the Waffen SS. The boards indicate the rank of Untersturmfuhrer. The right collar tab displays machine sewn, perfectly hand-embroidered SS runics and the left side tab shows the officer's rank being Untersturmfuhrer. On the upper left sleeve is the officer's bullion eagle. The tunic displays deep scallops of the pleated pockets indicating Austrian design. The front is closed with field gray pebbled aluminum buttons. The French cuffs further enhance the style of the tunic. Above the left breast pocket is a short ribbon bar displaying awards for the War Merit Cross with Swords 2nd Class and the Eastern Front medal. There is a single set of loops on the left breast pocket for display of an additional award. The tailors label, " Uniformen und Zivil, A. Meissner, Breslau Blucherplatz 9 " is sewn to the upper center shoulder area. The nametag sewn inside the breast pocket presents the SS officer's name and rank, " Ustuf Dr. Scheiter, Sept. 1942."Dr. Jurist, Otto Scheiter (1902-44) held SS # 330363 and served as a divisional judge in 1944 on the general staff of the 8th Cavalry Division "Florian Geyer." Untersturmfuhrer Scheiter was killed in action during the Battle of Budapest December28, 1944. 19500. More Photos

    SD Officer Tuxedo

    SS/SD black tuxedo owned by SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Paul Winzer, head of the security service SD main office and detective inspector at the German Embassy in Madrid.This is an elegant tunic, made in 1939, has SD leaders (without SS runes), sewn onto the collar by hand, silver along with the matching rank tab, standard SD cuff band is hand applied to the left sleeve, no breast bar was ever applied to the tunic, shoulder boards of course are sewn in and secured with the very attractive silver runic buttons as found throughout the garment all SS-RZM and date marked, sleeve brassard has the regulation thick silver piping the inside pocket has a tailor's label "C.A. Herpich Söhne Berlin W., Leipzigerstr. 9-11", handwritten bearer name "Kriminalrat. Winzer, 31.7.39". The service tunic has clearly been worn, all effects are originally sewn, in good condition.
    Paul Winzer, born in Cottbus on June 24, 1908, SS membership no. 127565, joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1932 with membership no. 1.106.851, member of SS-Lebensborn. Joined the SS on June 1, 1933, promoted to S-Untersturmfuhrer December 2, 1936, SS Obersturmfuhrer November 11, 1936, SS Hauptsturmfuhrer March 1, 1939, SS-Sturmbannfuhrer October 23, 1940. Awards: SA Sports Badge in bronze, Reich Sports Badge DRL in bronze, 1939 War Merit Cross 1939 1st class without swords, 1944 War Merit Cross 1939 1st and 2nd class with swords. From 1936 member of the SD main office in Berlin, on 212.1936 as head of the SD security service and detective inspector at the German Embassy in Madrid as German police attaché. Promoted to Police Council on July 31, 1937. A year later, Winzer returned to Germany, from October 1937 to September 1938 service in the Luftwaffe in Flak Regiment 29. Returning to Spain in autumn 1938, Winzer was involved in setting up the Spanish security police based on the German model and taking part in the planning and construction of the concentration camp. Marina del Ebro". At the end of 1944, Winzer left Madrid by plane, and his plane crashed near Lyon in southern France. After the end of the war, Winzer changes his name to "Walter Eugene Mosig" and becomes a prisoner of war. From the spring of 1946, Mosig was interviewed by the Counter Intelligence Corps for two years at Hohenasperg Fortress. In 1948, Winzer emigrated to Córdoba (Argentina). The name Mosig appears in a 2002 list of Nazi war criminals. The exact date of death of Winzer alias Mosig is not known.Enclosed an extensive folder with research documents, photocopies of his SS personnel file, SS length of service lists, 2 portrait photos, excerpts from specialist literature, etc. A historically highly interesting uniform of a high-ranking SD leader and NS war criminal.
