SS-VT Visor Cap 1939

My latest acquisition arrived today, a fine looking SS-VT visor cap in feldgrau and dated 1939. The cap is in excellent condition despite some minor moth nips. It has beautifully matched zinc Overhoff insignia. The interior has everything you'd expect to see in this type of cap including a 39 ink stamp and an rzm stamped chinstrap. I'm very happy to add this to my collection and I hope you enjoy the photo's.

Thank you Marten, after the fiasco with my Fewegla visor chinstrap falling apart I've been very careful handling this one. It's very fragile despite it's sturdy appearance.

These things happen unfortunately.. Even with taking the most care in handling them. Don't feel bad about that.. They are almost a century old. The storage conditions before you make all the difference.
