Looks indeed nice with period pin and bottom button.
However I am always sceptical if not marked by Hofstatter or Gahr.
The fakes on this are abolutely getting good. Wait for more opinions.

Thanks vocht. It was a gift from a very long time collector. He has had it for 20 plus years. I like the looks of pin just not sure of no makers mark like you.

Hi,
Better pics would be need to see the maker marks. I also prefer the Hofstätter and Gahr stickpins
These SS stickpins were faked for quite a long time, much more than 20 years .....

Yes, it's definitely München!
Most Gahr Pins I've seen have a more curved München lettering, this one is pretty straight.
Maybe it's a different stamp set...
But I'm by far no expert on these pins....
Did Deschler also make SS ZA Pins? Somehow the lettering reminds me of Deschler markings I've seen, but it's just a guess.

Thanks for the photos. Personally I don’t like it….
The Gahr stickpins are marked in principle SILBER on the left side, 900 on the right and below in curved lettering GAHR MÜNCHEN.
Interestingly it should be noted that Jo Rivett did find an interview from Herr Deschler saying in a newspaper article that the firm Deschler und Sohn made the SS Zivilabzeichen. And indeed the marking Gahr München on the SS ZA is very similar to the marking used by Deschler….
