I could be wrong..but it also looks photo shopped.
Im also seeing some of that white haze around the brim of the SS mans cap as also some of the insignia.
his hands are outlined in white.
If Im wrong my apologies ...and is just an observation.

Very interesting- a first for me too. The cap appears to be a silk-top, colour-piped and possibly converted from a Heer cap...
I was thinking the same as Arran... that’s a Heer Adler on the top there.
Don’t know if it’s dodgy photoshopping, but certainly a heavily touched up image!

The photo was small, so I blew it up by 200%, which makes it look odd.
The visor probably is a WH crusher w/ an added SS TK--common to see.

Interesting pic - the style of the lettering reminds me on the font found on Allgemeine honor cuff titles. I would like to see a good scan of this Picture.
