'Totenkopf' Cuff Title & Photo

I've had this RZM-pattern 'Totenkopf' cuff title for many years.

Today, I managed to pick up a photo showing this pattern of cuff title being worn.

Such photos are pretty hard to find, as the RZM TK title was introduced on or after 9th November, 1942 and was replaced after only a few months by the Bevo version.

The guy's expression seems to say it all ................. he's probably a veteran of Demjansk.

He wouldn't receive his campaign shield until 1944 .......... if he was still alive.

As an aside, here's a skull cut from an Oberbayern cuff title, which I managed to get from the late Tony Barto.
