Hello, This is my second notification on this forum site. The collar tab shown here is one of several pieces given to me by a Vet from WW2. Some collectors and dealers at nearby shows insist that it is fake...........some simply say "you never know". What is your opinion and why would some persist in trying to convince me that is fake?

Yes, I think that would be a good idea. Welcome to the Forum. This is the right place to get a straight answer on your tab. There are many knowledgeable collectors here. I hope you have a good one.

Always post a photo of any items you wish an opinion on.Their are members who can tell you weather its good or fake,but not without a photo and try to make it closeup and not fuzzy!

These are SSTV collar patches from a collection since dispersed. Such items are widely faked. Mr. Hritz is an expert in this material. Do find some of his posts, and you will likely find noteworthy examples of such items.
