No red flags here on the contrary. Very nice Austrian M17 probably used by Finland during the Winter war period & refurbished with typical components afterwards.

Finnish used helmet, Refurbished after-war in 1950-ties. With Finnish made leather liner.
5-pin holes is trademark of Finnish refurbished helmets in all German style helmets.
For everyone pleasure, a Finnish infantry squad 1941.
A wonderful example of the variety of helmets used then.

Hard to read the manufacturers mark due to the thick paint, but looks like it might be:
AW? A. Westen Cilli (Celie Slovenia) (1)
Or MW? Manfred Weiss, Csepel Budapest (Csepel is it a industrial zone of Budapest) (4)

A nice Finnish re-issued M17 helmet. The blue and white checkered pads holders (how does one call this) were made from left over bedlinnen sheet of the army. As seen on this picture of Kimi Raikkonen in the Finnish army.
