Period pictures of an M18 ear cutout?

As we all are interested in documenting our helmets, I think it would be interesting to see one or more period pictures of an M18 ear cutout helmet. I've seen several of cutouts used after WW1, but never seen one in use before november 11 of 1918. Do they even exist?
I sure hope you guys can help me out with this... Thanks in advance!

I've also seen those pictures before and they are really interesting... but not period of course...
