I like both of the camos you posted today, and although the other one is in better shape I prefer this one. I like the colors, and the 6 piece liner is interesying. Just my opinion. Jim G.

Looks good to me. Paint, patina and liner all look good. As far as camos, there was a design that was specified in the July 1918 directive handed down by Ludendorff, however you will find that there are many designs and interpretations that are well outside what was set down.

Perfectly untouched which is just how you want them. Congratulations! Looks like the first word could be the name “Hans”? You might have better luck reading it in the daylight. Technically, this one is an M16 shell with the 1917 steel liner band that replaced the earlier model due to a shortage of leather.
