i kinda like the top one but i am not sure at all !!!
The chinstraps are Czech copies ( I was tricked by one of these as Carl Hepting was a maker but the wartime logo was different ) and the green paint would have convinced me if it had not also been on the inside dome - I think a post war reissue / repaint, now looking all of 50 years old!

Postwar painted and looks like a bad strap but I'm distracted by the floral pattern tablecloth.
I agree with Doug, I might think the top one (M40) had a shot if the inside of the dome wasn't painted the same colour. Strap is certainly bad.
