I saw this one on there myself. I would like to say that the liner looks ok, and the chinstrap likewise.But I just love sitting on fences . The paint job on the other hand I am not sure about. Afrika Korps paint jobs are not really an area which I have looked at yet ( so much still to learn ).I would say it's not quite right though. Shame there are no real close ups of the paint, it would be easier to make a judgement. Sscrooge is the man for finding Ebay bargains apparently, if indeed there is such a thing Not something I would bid on.

Stories on eBay do not impress me. I realize that original items do come up on eBay once in a while, but there are so many fakes and fraudsters that I stay away from the site.

there was a helmet on there yesterday, or day before, it was a Russian helmet, talk about funny, the description was, Russian/German helmet from ww2.

Not great pics, but it looks like it was a post war Norway issue and then pimped as a DAK, IMO.

The paint on the inside does look like the Norwegian reissues! Cant believe I missed that.. I'm am definitely having a 'dumb' day today.
