Commercial Droopbill Luftschutz

I haven't had this out of storage for probably 10 years at least. It is a commercial droop bill shell, marked "D.R.P. ang" that, as I understand it, loosely translates to "patent pending." It originally was green when it left the factory, but at some point was repainted flat black and reissued to the Luftschutz. The decal is the less often encountered blue lined variant. Unfortunately, it was de nazified. The M26 liner is in pretty good shape and it retains the remnants of a carbine clip chin strap. Certainly not "mint" but it is a pretty rare example.
