dd luftwaffe helmet: is it original?

I am thinking about buying this helmet that was recently kicked off ebay. Can you tell from these rather horrible pictures, or by remembering the pictures on ebay, if the paint is original? Also, is $425 a reasonable price for this helmet? I know there are great fakes out there and I am relatively new to this field so your opinions are much appreciated.

Impossible to tell anything from those pictures. Wouldn't pay 425$ for it. It seems to have lost its original paint.

So is it worthwhile to wait for better pictures of the decals or just based on the paint go ahead and forgo this deal?

I would wait for a better one. If you buy a piece of junk that is what you have. A piece of junk.

I have the same one but i payed £150 and its in much better condtion
