Never seen these shells before. The WA was more of a Dutch SA. It is true some joined the SS early in the war into Standarte Westland as a part of Wiking.
This is a very complicated story since the majority of the Dutch National Socialists supported the local NS leader Mussert who was against the SS stealing all the WA men.
The more radical elements of the party ( the Volkse group) wanted to recruit as many as possible for the SS and had the most German backing in the form of high SS and even Himmler.
Towards the end of the war a lot changed. The WA men were pressured from all sides into the SS Landstorm Division. By then it was already to late to make a difference. I doubt any ever wore these helmets. I would love to be proven wrong.

Too bad you cant read any stamping - to have a square corner Alloy bail & band means it MUST be an early M40 only and a lot No would help with that ( as the liner to me looks a bit more like the later pigskin type?? ) As for the decal, I think I see pitting under it - especially on the left side.

Wiking never fought at Narva but the Nederland Brigade did but not wearing Helmets like this !!
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

I already stand corrected:
image screenshotted from NSB Nationaal Socialistische Beweging Mussert - NSB bezetting40-45!. Hope Jan doesn't mind to show his image for this one time. All credits go to him.
Seems this was used. However, still cannot comment on originality.

There is almost no information on these decals other than 99,9% being fake.
The few accepted ones (by some collectors) have not been investigated with a USB microscope either.
So there is zero concensus on what constitutes an original decal.

These helmets look pretty cool and if real are very rare. Considering the SS Landstorm only had a few 1000 men in them. Wearing a ragtag of gear since it was a late war regiment and brigade. The messy surrender in may 1945 must've had most of the Landstorm items destroyed and missing. All the cuffs, collars etc are worth their weight in gold.

The one on WAF I would expect a Heer decal under the Wolfsangel runes for starters.
All auxilliary helmets have this trait , Nskk , Rad , foreign SS.
It's a giant leap of faith this helmet.
