    Wow!! Incredible helmet! I've only ever seen these unclear old photos like the one you posted above. So cool to see this in color and in great detail. Epic score - congrats!

    A fascinating early SA helmet. Saw this in another group on the weekend and aside from the example that Oliver Lock posted I’ve not seen another example. Nice to see it on a Bell manufactured shell too. Interesting liner as it doesn’t look German WW1 and not an early M27. Could be Austrian but the grommets look a bit too big. Thanks for showing.
