Manufacturer Hkp Size 64 35357 .... Borderless Eagle Insignia.

should not the Hkp M42 have a bordered decal?

It looks similar to a borderless Methner & Burger decal seen on early SE's but I do see a few differences. That said, I know very little about variances in these decals. So best wait for those that know more.

Hi Map ... thanks for your opinion, I have seen one very very similar on a previous Forum listing which all appeared to be ok!
Like you said it’s best to wait and see what other views reveal.

My HKP M42 Combat Police helmet also has a bordered bird, but this one looks right to me as well and I agree with David, who knows more about these than I. Jim G.
