helmet2id- I don't have close ups of the maker/size and lot # - But here it is . Anders was kind enough to write the following definition:
58 is the liner size, T117 is a lot nr or production number of the entire lot to which the helmet could be attributed.
66 is the shell size. and NS is the maker of the shell, in this case "Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke"

Many are indeed NS shells. Mine is an NS 62, with lot # D 4. Yours is a real gem! Jim G.
