The German camo helmet
This thread will be in dedication of the German Camo helmet! Post your own Authentic camos, and of course period photos of soldiers with camo helmets!
Note the chicken wire camo on the soldier on the left. Stalingrad.

These soldiers have mud colored helmets in this famous photo. Deutsche Heer Obergefreiter (German Army Senior Lance-Corporal) prepares to throw a Model 24 Stielhandgranate (Stick Hand Grenade) while he is covered by another Gefreiter (Private) with a Mauser Karabiner 98 Kurz (Model 1898 Kurz Carbine) in a staged propaganda photo during invasion of the Soviet Union.
