German/Hungarian Police Parade Helmet ?

What are your thoughts on this helmet?

* I thought maybe a early variation police helmet?
* No markings except what looks like a (3)?
* Insignia mounted on the side
* i could not find anything to compare it to?

It is good but obviously has condition issues. The swastika shield that would have been on the other side will be hard to find. Here is a similar helmet. Jim G.
